  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving


  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.
  5. Add the bell peppers, onion, and broccoli to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  6. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper.
  8. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet.
  9. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables and stir to coat.
  10. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the vegetables are tender.
  11. Serve the chicken stir fry over cooked rice.
